Located at the western portion of the total Klang Valley infrastructure development, Guthrie Corridor Expressway (GCE) presents a pleasant alternative to the existing road networks. GCE forms the western link of the Kuala Lumpur Outer Ring Road and complements of the North-South Expressway State Road B9 (Jalan Batu Tiga – Sungai Buloh) and Federal Road FT54 (Jalan Kuala Selangor – Sungai Buloh).GCE is connected to the Kuala Lumpur – Kuala Selangor expressway (LATAR) which connects to the existing North South Expressway.
With 9 interchanges GCE aspires to unravel the crisis of the overcrowding traffic at certain bottleneck areas. GCE will provide an infrastructure access for future developments between Shah Alam and Rawang and serve as a catalyst for the development of the surrounding areas, benefiting the community in the vicinity. The length of GCE is approximately 25km. GCE has features including a dual-three lane carriageway with a 5m central media beautifully landscaped. GCE also provides a 3 meter wide emergency lane on both sides and utility reserve lane on both sides. There are 2 Rest and Service Areas, 2 lay-bys and 2 JPJ weigh-bridges station along GCE. GCE gives you a restful journey, accompanied by beautiful trees and picturesque landscapes.
